The Person Behind the Promise

Sonal Scindia founded KSApex LLC in July 2012 from a Virginia Tech M.S. in IT graduate capstone project that was adopted directly by a federal agency, a beginning that set the tone for everything that followed: real problems, real delivery, real accountability.

In 14 years of continuous operation, KSApex has never had a contract failure. That record is not a marketing claim, it is the result of deliberate choices about what work to take, how to staff it, and how to run it. Sonal serves as the operational through-line on every engagement, ensuring the institutional knowledge and quality standard stay constant regardless of project scope.

Her areas of expertise span AI governance, federal cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, cybersecurity compliance, and digital transformation. She developed AEGIS. KSApex's proprietary federal AI governance framework, as a structured, auditable path for agencies navigating responsible AI adoption, aligned to OMB M-25-21, NIST AI RMF, and Zero Trust principles.

Sonal holds a Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and completed the MIT Professional Education Applied AI and Data Science Program, credentials she applies directly on client work, not on a shelf.
